        If you are unable to attend a CE program after you have registered, please let us know either by phone or e-mail at least 48 hours in advance.

        Please note that any inclement weather cancellations will be posted on the web and as a message on the WCPhA phone number 782-1002.

        Please tell a colleague about the web site and the advantages of joining the WCPhA association. At least get them to look at the web site and use the links.

Membership

        Membership for WCPhA is $60 a year

        Membership year runs from January thru December

        Nine months of CE hours are provided per calendar year

Proactive Management of Multiple Myeloma:

1. Discuss the different classes of therapies and the pharmacology of treatment regimens that might be considered for multiple myeloma.

2. Discuss the use of appropriate supportive care and adjunctive measures.

3. Implement interventions for baseline patient assessment and symptom management for side effects of systemic therapies.

Upon completion of this knowledge-based activity, participants should be able to:

1. Discuss the goals of lipid-lowering therapy using current guidelines, including the use of advanced lipid testing in high-risk patients.

2. Explain the importance of lifestyle modifications in achieving lipid goals.

3. Review some of the clinical trials that have influenced the treatment of hyperlipidemia and coronary artery disease.

4. Apply information from current guidelines and clinical trials to patient cases, with emphasis on treating the complicated and high-risk patient.

5. Discuss the use of alternative and herbal medications in patients intolerant to prescription lipid-lowering medications.

Registration

Reservations must be made 3 days prior to the event. If you register for the meeting and cannot attend, please call the WCPhA phone registration number or email us 48 hours in advance so that someone else can attend in your place (if limited seating) or we can notify the caterer.

CE Credit
